how do u change the [far right side]taillight bulb in an 88? my arm is too big too fit up thru the mufflers to get to the darn thing..

Remove license plate, reach up behind and remove the inner light, then reach through the inner light opening to service the outer light.

Or drop the muffler enough to get your arm up there.

It's rather easy to do, too.

Easier, IMHO than removing the inner light.

I had a small boy with long arms change mine . Cliff

A beer and a couple of hours

I replaced mine and I found that a beer and a couple of hours worked. The other thing that worked was to get my 12 year old to stick his arm up there and replace it.

changing bulbs

Personally I've never had any luck by just removing the license plate & reversing light bulbs. I prefer to remove the gas filler door, cap, and rubber gasket and go in from the top. It's still a tight squeeze though and you have to be real careful not to scrape your arms on the sharp metal edges.

There must have been a few sighs of relief when the 91 came out! (A couple of screws per lens gets you to the bulbs)
