Targa Top bangs and rattles

Anyone have any tips for a glass targa top that seems to bang and rattle when going over bumps. do the seal need replacement, has anyone experienced this. 1986

The mounting brackets on the front of the top may be loose. If you pull the top off on the underside of the top there is a triangle shaped bracket that the bolt in the windshiled goes into. Try and tighten the two bolts on the corners of the bracket. The ratchet you use to bolt and unbolt the top with should fit those bolts also. Hope this helps.
