Techron replacement/update

HI there,
Techron is not the same, and any fuel can create problems, no matter who makes it.
The simple truth is that the Top tier fuel will cause much LESS problems than the others that are NOT.
As for the cost, one fuel injector, about $100 each, times 8. With that in mind, is $24 every 3000 miles THAT EXPENSIVE????
Allthebest, c4c5

Although the list price of the new additive is $22.53, my dealer sold it to me for $14.12 + tax. I purchased three bottles and have already added a bottle to my C5, although I use Shell premium fuel. It is cheap insurance and I am hoping it will cure the erratic fuel gauge.

Since switching exclusively to Chevron gasoline I have not seen the gas gauge problem in over two years.

I'm interested in getting some of this as well.

I run Chevron exclusively, and I have the gas guage problem off and on. It does not cure all of them.

Cheap insurance, just like an oil change. . . . . . . . . so if I understand you right c4c5specialist this is better than the Techton in your professional opinion, right? I would trust your advice than any Blow Joe. . .

Me too, Jim.

I run Chevron Supreme 99 out of 100 fillups in my car (the one time being when I can't get Chevron) though after Katrina I did have to fill up a couple of times at other stations.

I've seen indications of the gas gauge gremlim too. I thought it would be a non-issue since I run Chevron all the time, but I'll start putting a bottle in my gas tank every oil change also. Certainly couldn't hurt.

Thanks again Paul for sharing your vast knowledge and expertise with us!
