Just a reminder the NCRS Texas Regional is 4-6 November at the Waco Convention Center. Come out and help the Texas Chapter celebrate 25 years of great cars and great friends. Details are available at www.ncrstexas.org.

;LOLI guess I didn't look at the date very close. Don't tell my wife about this. She'll throw me in the VA Hospital.

I wish I could come out.

Hey Tom, if you go to the VA hospital, we may be room mates. My wife is always threatening to send me there, especially when I get a case of CRS. I'll post pictures as soon as they are available.

Tom,

The nurse is calling, it's time for your sleeping pill again ;LOL.
Have a great Regional, BD!

My wife told my sister in law how she threatens me with the VA Hospital and now she is threatening my brother. It doesn't seem to matter how perfect we are, we just can't win. :L

At least Guy will come to visit and we can look out the barred windows at his Corvette.

My wife calls it "oldbuckitis (pronounced old buk eye-tis). ;LOL

Hey Tom, do you think the nurses will wipe the drool we get from looking at Guy's Vette?

Bob,

The 82's were unique, but the 99 is just one in thousands. The cars I drool over are always on the judging field. Now if you can just get that guy in Houston who has 1953 serial number 300 to show up..... ;).

Actually he is. He is also bringing a 54 and a 55.

Great! My brother who lives in Houston was invited to tag along with a friend to see "some guys old cars." It was this gentlemans collection and my brother called the next day to ask how many 53's were made. After I told him, he said he saw #300 in a wonderful car collection. I asked our local NCRS "celebrity" David Brigham if this was #300 and he replied it was. For those who don't know, David is the owner of the ONLY NCRS 5 Star Bowtie 1953 Corvette.

I wish I could make this trip, it sounds like this should be a great meet.

Dave is a great guy and knows the 53-55s like the back of his hand. I judged with him a couple of years ago and really learned a lot. We have a '54 and '55 going for PV at the show this year. It should be fun.

Waco Regional

Just thought I'd do an update for all you folks in the Texas area. We have 90 cars registered for the regional including a restored 1963 Sebring race car and an 81 Greenwood that was part of the Chip's Choice display at Carlisle. We also have an Indy Pace Car display and a 1968 L88 that was literally found in a barn and is unrestored. We also have a number of vendors. If you want to see some real nice cars and meet some even nicer people come on down to the Waco convention center 5 or 6 November and join the Texas Chapter for some fun. I'll post some pictures later. You can still register too just go to www.ncrstexas.org fo rthe registration sheet.

Be sure to post pictures. Hope it's a big success.

Tom

Waco was a big success. Almost 90 cars with 57 flight judged and some really nice display cars. We had half a dozen vendors selling parts, literature and memorabilia. If someone will tell me how to post pictures, I'll post a few.

90 cars - WOW! Wish I could have made it, but at least I have my plane ticket for the Winter Regional.

It was great. Unfortunately your old car didn't make it. I was looking forward to seeing it again. We had 2 '71 LS6s and an outstanding 69 L88. There was also a beautifully restored '63 ZO6 Sebring race car that was signed off for the Heritage award and an '81 Greenwood that looked like the Batmobile. All in all it was our best meet in a while. Mark your calendar and maybe you can make it next year-20-22 October 2005.
