I want to thank all of you who replied to my post of 04/13/04 (New Owner of 94 Vette) and 04/15/04 (PKE Revisited) and those who read and would have but saw their answer already covered.
I took much of the advice you all suggested. I bought an Owners Manual, and I am awaiting delivery at anytime of both a Haynes and Chilton Repair Manuals. A special note on the Owners Manual, I had read through most of it on the first day after recieveing it, the very next day my Change Oil Light came on. I had read what to do about that the day before, can you imagine my distress had I not bought the book and gotten an Oil Warning, lol.
I was able to discover that the solenoids in both doors were binding, causing the key to be very hard to use to open the door. Works great now.
I bought a PKE Fob from my local dealer (cost and arm and a leg) and programmed it successfully first time.
So, I thank you all for the excellant advice and hand holding through this birthing process known as Corvette Ownership.
