anyone have any clue why GM produced so many 07 vettes.... it was the highest number of a single model year since the 84 and it shows, there are still new 07's sitting on lots

Probably the only car they make any money on now.SUV's are dead. There are probably new 06's around if one looks hard enough!08's are still out there by the truck load and 09's are in the pipe line!

look what gm is offering on the escalade.. like $11,000 right off the top, 0% for 72 months...... im tempted to go see just what kind of deal i can get on one on top of that....but the problem is knowing me i will be driving one home

GM made a lot of Corvettes in 2007 because they had demand for them in 2004-2006. It takes GM some time to "correct for supply/demand conditions." This is being proved by huge inventories sitting on dealership lots now. Not very many people buying $50,000 toys now that they're losing their homes...:eyerole

Especially considering that in many cases, the home is what enabled them to buy the toys. -Eric:w
