The coolest thing happened tonight!

It was sooooooo coooooooool. I drove Killer up to the local cruise in tonight for an hour or so. I was sitting in a pop up chair behind the car when fellow walked up pointing at my car and telling his wife "I swear, that is the same car I just saw in the Vette magazine" Then he asked me if it was one in the same. I asked "March 03 issue?" He said, "yep" Well, all I could do is smile and admit it was guilty as charged.

Man, that was sooooo coooool! He then told me how he enjoyed reading the article, and even quoted one of the lines from the text. I was blown away!

Okay, I still have the same silly grin on my face, so you have to forgive me for going on and on.

The temps were actually dropping fast. I was there with my buddy that owns the Lotus Esprit that has been here at my house for a couple of months. We had messed around with his car all day and decided to hit the local cruise. The temps were in the 60s when we left the house. I had the top down. When we were leaving, it was freeeeeezing. Top up, heater on full blast!

However, my wife is in Ohio right now and she said they had fresh snow on the ground.....NO THANKS!

I have a photo mouse pad of my baby beagle at work. Makes me smile everytime I look at it.

There were some of us that drove up to Dade City yesterday afternoon. It was about 60 when we left. It was about 40 when we decided to come home! I drove up(top down) with a '64 (top down), a '61 (top down), a '59 (top down) and a '71 Pantera. Going home... 69, 64, & 61 TOP UP! But the 59....top DOWN!

You know what would have really been cool in that photo?

It would have been sweet if we had your car backed up to my driver front so that there was a reflection of yours next to the black paint of mine. That way you would be looking at a 69 Vette with the relfection of a 69 Vette in the paint.

Uhm I do have one question. If it has a big block in it, would it be a Rat pad instead of a Mouse pad?

Lemme' see if I can wipe the green off........ nope! You did a ton of work, and really great job on Killer. You really diserve the recognition.

About the only thing I can bost about right now is the suspension and engine in my '73. And you cant even see them most of the time. I find myself wanting to just lift the hood and put mirrors under her when I park so people will oooh and ahhh.
