The dash lights stop working ??

The lights around my speedo ( info center, fuel center and light switch ) just stopped working but the lights on my passenger door and fx3 still work.

If the 91 still has the digital dash like mine, then there's 4 bulbs behind it that illuminate the lcd display. I have the left side bulbs occasionally go out, or dimmer. So far gently thumping the display of driving over a rough road will kick it back in. One day it won't and I'll have to take it apart and replace the ^%$% bulbs.

The ones in red don't work...just stopped all at once. The ones in blue still work, the white lights work on both doors just the orange light on the driver door don't. What would make one side work and not the other and how to fix ? I have replaced all the bulbs and still not working HELP!!!!!

Not like mine at all. I guess they changed it by 91. Wish i could help. Someone's bound to chime in, you'd think. At least I can send it BTT for ya.

When Mine went out, someone on the forum suggested checking my tail lights. Sure as hell, there were tail lights out! Fixed the tail lights, dash lights started working again. Weird,huh?

Son of a gun. Who'da thought that. I'm gonna hafta remember it. I guess on Corvettes "the tail bone's connected to the head bone". lol
I thought only Jeeps were bewitched.

The way it was explained to me, the dash lights go out to indicate a tail light problem (which happened from holding the "set" switch too long on the radio). I could never find anything to back it up in the FSM but, it did cure the dash light problem.
