We're getting ready to drop the big block in. Once the new flywheel gets here, we're gonna do it.

Meanwhile, lots of other GOODIES have arrived. They're just below the engine on that page.

After the ZZ-502 is in, the last major items on the list are to install the doors, exhaust and bumpers. There are several minor items. ;LOL

Bob,

I can't remember is this a long weekend up in Canada also? If so I am sure you will get the rat in place.

Keep up the progress,

Tom McCabe

Tom,

Last weekend was our Victoria Day weekend. Yes, that's Queen Victoria....the same one that the 'Crown Vic' was named after. :D

Meanwhile, my supplier tells me that the flywheel is at least 2.5 weeks out on radar. Damn that border.

There's lots I can do in the meantime.

Now Your Getting CLOSE I am sure its going to be a thrilling first ride I cant wait to read the post on that one

Bob,

So a short burst without the doors after the motor is installed is not out of the question is it? Really wake up the neighborhood do it without the exhaust.

67, when do you expect to be fully done with this project? It looks like she's coming along great! Keep it up, bud. :D

Thanks.

I've given up on setting dates. The amount of work that goes into a complete restoration (top to bottom - front to rear - inside to outside - every nut and bolt apart), combined with major modifications to the suspension and drivetrain, as well as conversion to wide-body fenders, is mind-boggling. :crazy

A.s.a.p. is all I can say with a "possible" late-June / early-July in the cards.

Wow! That's soon. :eek Would be nice to have her for this warm season, but I wouldn't rush on the job if I were you. "Slow and steady wins the race"...that is, until the '67 is done. When she is done, there will be nothing slow about her. ;)

Ol' 67 just wants to make sure he has one good drive before the snow starts flying. :L
