Thoughts on this 16k mile C4 Corvette for sale?

Just came across this 16k mile C4 for sale, looks interesting. No telling what the reserve is, but there are still a couple of days left. One owner, impeccable condition. Only downside is it is an automatic. Either way, might be a big sale for the C4 market!

Those both look like decent cars.

Check to see if tires are original. If they are figure in a new set ASAP. Also very low mileage Vettes are prone to oil leaks due to seal inactivity. Same with water pump. Check out if you can. Somewhat expensive to fix. Also, if you can, see if you can get someone to check out the door and hatch seals and gaskets. Probably very brittle, and cracked after this amount of time. If this gets away, there are a ton out there just as good. If you are after a C4 go for the newest you can afford. A lot of hidden bugs in the old ones. Look for one under 75,000 miles. Those engine and trans. are pretty solid.

An automatic in an '84 is not a down side. The manual in the early C4s was the Doug-Nash 4+3. I'd look for a newer C4 with the 6-sp manual or consider the auto.
