throttle body air foil for 96 CE

I have a 96 collectors Edition with 30,000 miles on it. I have the K&N three air filter set up on it now. I'd heard of the throttle body air foils that you insert into the throttle body. they claim 5-10 hp. has anyone used these and do they really help. thanks for any info

I have one in my LT-4 CE. Don't know if it made a difference. Bought it pretty cheap used, so figured it couldn't hurt. Mine is the one that snap into your inlet tube, not the one that screws to the throttle body.
