I'm coming down the home stretch with the mechanical stuff on my 85 C4. Now I'm getting into the running of it. Sometimes it likes to stall and idle rough. Drivability is not as smooth as I think it should be either. I've been reading up on some of the components of the engine systems and one thing is bothering me. The throttle body has latteral movement. If it was a Rochester carburetor I'd replace it. They were notorious for vaccume leaks at the throttle shafts creating the same issue I have with the throttle body. Anyone having this problem or been there already?

The throttle body does wear out at the shaft eventually, and the ensuing leaks will affect the engine idle much the same as with a carburetor.
