Thumb in the Dike??

C4 water pump bolts. For those of you experienced with the pump can you tell us the best sealant to use on the bolts to keep water at bay? I'm thinking of either RTV or teflon tape. Any product better than RTV? If I use that it will probably be the "copper".

I thought this would be about something else.When I replaced mine I just used that orange rtv,never had a problem out of it.
