The visors on my '78 are in perfect cosmetic condition, however they require quite a bit of force to bring them down. If I gently move them with 2 hands they work, but there has to be a way to make them pivot more
normally. has anyone discovered a simple fix for this. I'm sure any kind of spray lube would bleed through the fabric amd make a mess.
Thanks :cool

You should be happy with them, the tighter the better...well I mean if their are to loose they will flop down. But to adjust, you have to push it off the arm, then try to open up the openning with something like a screwdriver or a all. Something round, if you open it too much, then wrap it in a towel and lighty tap the end with a hammer...

My brand new passenger visor is loose. It drives me nuts. I would keep it tight, but if you must...

Mine were excessively tight as well. Not to mention "bubba" had them installed backwards. I removed them and cleaned the shafts since they were all gummed up. They work much better now.
