my stock 92 LT1 at..is comming home from the shop soon.
everything will be in working order....
is it time to trade?

What is a 1lt? If you are happy with your LT1 and it is in great condition, why would you want to sell it?

Is your LT1 paid for? If so- why not just keep it. You won't get much on trade these days unless you have a Prius.

JMHO- I'd go out and test drive all the C6s I could to see if I was really that interested in getting something different first.

Hey Bucket.... I like the combination of POWER and sophistication the C4 presents....PAID for is ALWAYS good! Do a 383 build and then throw a party with the remaining money!

you guys are too wise..however..we all know the evolution of the corvette.....the newer the better..
430 horse 6 speed auto .........fastest base model EVER..and faster than an 08 Z06..
i can score a left over 09 for 40,000....not bad when you consider that ive seen lots of used C6's listed for over 40
so...as with everyting else..
i'll wait on The Lord to open this door.


and it is nice haveing no payments and low insurance....
but i do think that this current year modelwould do me till Jesus comes back..

2008 LS3's > Base C6

thats true...last year..total driving , not counting the road trip back from Texas..in a penski truck,.was less than 1000 miles on both rigs..
so..you are thuinking i dont drive enough to justify a new one.?

and, perhaps i would have a very low miles 09 model for a long time
or take the 40 k and rod the crap out of my C4...
it just wouldnt be the same...
over the years and over 200 cars trucks boats and motorcycles later, ive discover that newer is better...
