How big of a magnet do you have to use to relearn the air pressure sensors? I have tried using a Bose speaker. Am I just holding it in the wrong way?? Any help would be appreciated. c.w.moss

I have used a car speaker magnet with no problems. You may have to maneuver it just so to get it to work. I have also used a magnet from an old hard drive with good results.

Thanks yellow 2002 for the reply. I have tried using a speaker for a Bose system, but maybe I just didn't hold my head just right. I'll try again. I just traded my 1999 hardop for a 2002 Yellow Coupe and kept my wheels that I had put on the '99. I couldn't let them get away. The sensors are originally off of the '99. They are all the same aren't they?

Thanks,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there are two different types of C5 pressure sensors. The old style were installed on 97-00. There was a change in those installed in 01-04. They are not interchangeable.

Sensors from a 99 will not work on an 00-04.

Thanks Bob. I was going to go down to the chevy store and get my parts buddy to look and see if there was a difference. I'll just get some new ones when I put a new set of tires on.
