Any recommendations on a product and the process? Iv'e used Armoral and Stoners. Both are spray but I use a cloth to avoid getting the product on the wheels.

I use Wet by Eagle 1. It soaks into the tires, and in my experience, helps prevent dry-rot of the tires. There are different schools of thought on this, but my experience has proven to me that the silicone tire dressing is the only way to go.

Ditto

Wet and the applicator Tire Sponge.

Remo, How are you?

I have been using Mequiars Endurance tire protectant gel. This product actually works as advertised for me. It leaves a shine that can be varied by amount of product and layers applied. The shine does last for weeks, not days. I find that I don't even need to apply it every time I wash my car, maybe every third wash.

Application with a foam applicator keeps it off of the wheels. This stuff also stays on your tires and doesn't spray onto the car as some other shines do.

Best thing I've found is soap and water...that's all. Rubber is not naturally shiny. That's just my philosophy. :)

i love meguires endurance it doesnt fling off on the car and you can get diffrent
glosses just by how you apply it

if it doesn't fling off doesn't that mean you are driving too slow??

j/k

I've used Meguiars endurance stuff. I personally like it but it can be a paint to use especially when the tires you are using it on have th groves /ripples all the way around them.

I've also used THe Turtle tire dressing stuff, great shine. I dont know anything about fling off because the car I used it on is not mine and I haven't seen it since I cleaned it.

;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

I didn't even intend for that to be funny, but as I read it over (I have read it about 3 times now) I find it quite funny. :L
My friend and I are starting a detailing business, we are a few bucks short of breaking even for materials and we have multiple people who are ready to schedule appointments:upthumbs . One guy even said we could do his car every month.

THe tire dressing was used on the first customers car, I haven't seen him since so it must work well enough that it didn't mess up our wax job.

Just an update on the turtle wax tire dressing. I used it on my mom's car and it has been a little over a week. They are still pretty black considering it has gone: on the highway for a few hours, dirt roads, rain storm, and a few other of natures finest. BTW no spin off from what I can see:)
