I am about to put non-run flats on. What happens to the TPM system? How can I stop the codes from appearing on the DIC. I am scheduled to get this done on Monday March 1st, so what should I expect?

HI there,
As long as the tires that are going on the car are NOT Good year F1Steel tires, you should actually not have a problem.
They should have the sensors retrained for the proper locations, but other than that, the system should function normally without a problem.

My Dear Moneypenny,
I hope you're cell phone is in good working order, M may have something to help in that. The only reason I will get replacement runflats is that I don't know where I'll be when "it" happens. Atleast runflats will get you to a tire store, unless you're in the middle of nowhere.

What do you mean by retraining the sensors for the proper locations. If the tire shop keeps the sensors with the proper wheel won't it still read correctly on the DIC.
