I need a little advice. I got some great new tires on line and took em up to my favorite mechanic to have them mounted. In the precess the left front tire sensor was busted. They replaced it and I wanna know how to get it working, fire it up, make it monitor, you get the drift. The dealer wants to charge me a ton and I'd like to do it myself, if possible. If someone can give me the destruction's:happyanim: and let me know if I need some special tool, I'll be a happy camper. The other three work fine.
Thanks

Consider yourself lucky that your TPMS receiver still works. If that goes your TPMS won't work at all. Mine broke over a year ago and GM/Corvette can't replace it with a new part. I and the local dealer have been dealing with GM Customer Service for the last year trying to get a new receiver. Last year GM said their original supplier doesn't make the receiver anymore and they don't know how they will resolve the problem. It is ridiculous that GM can't get a new replacement made or engineer a solution to the problem.
