Could someone list the possibilities of RUNFLAT or EMT tires for me...
I am looking for something with more "bite" and currently have Goodyear EMT's 285/40/17's on 9.5" rims at all 4 corners and would really like a 275/40/17 on each (Or, a 295/35/17 if that would be the same height as a 275/40/17, for the rear)
TIA :beer

Run flats

Hey Chris what size are the rear rims? Are they the same size as the fronts. If your rears are wider I would go with 315 35 17 in the rear and 285 40 17 in the fronts A 315 35 17 fits very nice in the rear that is what I am running in the back and 275 40 17 .in the front.

Pete - That's a real good question. I am not sure if it is like our Dy's (that are really 17x10s) They show 17x9.5's on all 4 corners but I think a 295 could fit if it availl in run flat.
Another option I suppose, is to get a Z06 style "flat" kit. Since the car has center exhaust, no spare tire is possible.

On a side note - This thread really got me thinking when I last got a flat - Back in 1991. Even then, I drove on it to get it patched as I was 1 mile away from the tire place :)
