So, it's time to Zaino, although she still looks pretty good. And, the entire family is coming in for a reunion next week, and Vette rides are on the activity list.

BUT, it's too beeping H O T to get out there and work! We hit 99 here today and the humidity is so bad you can cut it with a knife. Although she is running fine (i.e. cool) and the A/C is working well, I am not taking her out as much as I just don't enjoy being out.

What's a guy to do?

Ah, that's the problem. No garage here. Most of the beach-type houses here don't have garages - mine is built on pilings and you put the cars under. I have a good cover, but that is about it. It was 89 by 9:00 AM here anyhow!

Yours sure looks nice! I am going to have to work on my shine...

Bob

I can certainly relate to "too hot". I've been here in Kansas City for the last several days helping my daughter get moved into her "new" house. Between the heat and the "stupidity", it's been miserable.

Today we got a little break from the heat, but the humidity was still bad. Maybe the cooler weather is headed your way.

Try your best. You can drive to a mall parking lot and do it there. Good Luck with the CORVETTE and with the family.

Well, I got her washed, at least. Went out as early as I could this AM but when I was finished I was drenched in sweat. But didn't go for a ride - it hit 100.6 here today.

You forgot to drink beer :beer
:Silly :drink :bar

you guys have a lot of nerve *****in about the heat. it was 117 in vegas all last week. i find the earlier you work on it, the better it will look. plus its easier on your arm. bite the bullet and get up extra early.

I don't mean to be rude, but what's the problem? You can't drive it without waxing it? Looks clean to me.

I haven't drunk beer at 9 AM since my college hangover-after-late-night-parties days. I guess I am going to have to start...

Bob

The picture was taken when it was clean. But having a Corvette is a hobby, not just transportation. The hobby demands certain things, just like my photography hobby demands that I learn certain techniques. Washing and adoring her is definitely part of the hobby, especially when all the family is coming in next week and I want to show her off.

Flip a $100 bill to the guys at the carwash, supplying the Zaino car wash, Z5, Z2 and Z6 along with fieldstone cotton towels. Go do some beach fishing and let them sweat.

For some reason the title reminds me of a Country song.

Too hot to plow
Too hot to wax

And toooooo cold at home!!

(or something like that)
