It was really interesting to me that Ferrari stated they would not sell another "collector" Ferrari to any owner that let Top Gear test the La Ferrari against the 918 and P1.

It's good to be the king............:)

That's not the only time the Prancing Red Horse has threatened its' customers.

That's a really outstanding, customer orientated, customer relations program they have going on there. You buy and pay way too much for the vehicle, and then Ferrari cheerfully helps the consumer of their product by stating after the purchase how and where you can use it. Nicely done dictatorship.

Think I'd buy another really expensive Ferrari after being treated that way, since that must mean they really care about you, the consumer...........;)

When a customer gets on the list for a limited edition Ferrari like the La Ferrari, and others, and takes delivery, he/she had better not flip it in a time frame hat Ferrari deems unseemly. Doing so will absolutely cost them the ability to buy another rare factory car, or maybe, any new model. That has been a quiet policy for some time, I'm told.

Pretty silly, but in the bigger scheme of things, not very important.

I agree, not important at all really, especially to me.

It's just amazing/humorous to me how Ferrari gets away with these tactics considering their wealthy/powerful cliental, who I am sure are not used to being told how and what they can and cannot do....... :)

I personally think they should have run the ZO6 instead. Would have been more interesting imo.

The Z06 would have been a better test, but not against the Cayman, it would need to be the 911. I don't know if Britain has one yet, or if they will even get a Z06. I know that they only get one model Stingray and it has the Z51 package, they don't get to pick and choose many (if any) options.
