I am new to the forum (just purchase a 1991 Torch Red Vette) and have a few questions:

1. My front bumper needs repainting and was curious if there are any sites/stores/GM etc. that sell Torch Red Paint (I live in Italy, so I cannot go to a body shop specialized in Corvettes).

2. What are the best shop manuals?

3. CD Player is broke (err when CD is inserted). Are there any aftermarket OEM type replacements available.

Thanks...

I can tell you the best shop manual is the Helms manual. Get the service manual and electrical manual with any suppliments. I got mine on e-bay. You can order directly from Helms.

I cant help on the rest.

Italy-vette,
I would try contacting corvette-italia@libero.it. They shud have access to vendors that may help. I don't know which city thay are located in, but its gotta be closer that the states.

torch red (Code 70) did not start until 93, if it's red it's bright red (code 81) make sure you don't get the wrong red when you get a repaint. Bright red is a little deeper red than torch whcih has kind of and orangy look to it
