Could someone please give me the torque specifications for the oil pan and the transmission pan. None of my books give this information.

Oil pan 65 to 80 inch bls. or 6 to 8 foot lbs.

Tran pan 12 foot bls.

Jack, The transmission pan gasket is leaking and needs to be changed.
I bought the filter kit and with the weather being fairly good i thought i would get started. Not really excited about it,buts needs to be done.
Just wanted to get the torque spec's because i have a habit to tighten
things a half turn to much and breaking them. Torque for the oil pan is a
just a need to know thing.

Less is better with oil and transmission pans, good luck
