Torquing Frame?

When I bought my Callaway, the seller told me to be VERY careful if I ever chose to take the top off of my coupe. He said that with all the torque the car produces, you could bend (twist) the frame without the top in. I have taken it out and put it back in easily several times, then one day I had it out and some fool tried to race me - well, I kinda forgot I had the top off and I got on it. When I went to put the top on that night I at least IMAGINED that it didn't fit quite right. Have you guys ever heard of this, or am I dreaming?

I've had my roof out and have tried to re-install it not knowing that the car was parked on a slightly uneven surface. Just the slightest grade change from from side to side and wheel to wheel is enough to make the roof installation a little cumbersome. It's an inherent C4 frame weakness. However, every time I do it in the garage it fits in with no problem right away!

Now that you mention it, I was on a bit of a slope! Never thought of that, thanks!:m
