Folks,

I used touch-up paint for the first time. I got it from Ecklers (95 Competition Yellow 53U) and applied it to a few spot on the hood where there were small stone chips. Unfortunately I must have touched up somewhat larger than the chipped spots, and now I see "dull looking" areas where I painted.

Is there any way to "polish / blend" those spots to the original finish??? Or do I have to live with it...

;) ;) ;)

problem, too

Hey, Tibet, I'm the guy with 548 (not 554, my bad, just had it dyno'd again) horses that you don't believe. Anyway, I have a small crack in the fiberglass on the passenger side just forward of the front wheel. Any ideas on fixing it?

Hey, I know absolutely nothing about body repairs... Sorry...

I recently bought the Langka "Blob Eliminator" to address paint touch-up problems. Although I haven't tried it yet, it might work for you. Check it out at www.langka.com.

I have used the Lanka and it is GREAT! You may need to do multiple coats to get it to look near perfect but it is possible. As far as the dull spots most auto supply houses sell a paint chip repair kit that contains a clear coat tube. This may help with getting a little shine into you touchup.
