Did a search here, but didn't find what I was searching for. Does anybody here know anything about a modification that can be done to a TPIS BigMouth base which involves reshaping the bottom side base area where the injector protrudes into the engine? I've heard that reshaping this area can improve the spray pattern. Has anybody tried this? Thanks in advance for your input!!

BTW....the engine in question is an 89 L98. Relevant mods include BigMouth base (ported/polished); 52mm TB.

Hi,

Not sure if I can totally answer your question but I'll try.

I thought that the spray pattern would be determined by the injector and the condition of the injector.

Sorry if I can't answer your question but at least I've bumped it to the top and someone who is actually knowledgeable can answer your question.

Wow....no responses on this question? Unusual.
TTT again
