Here's an update to a thread from a few months ago. My TPMS receiver quit about 7 months ago and I ordered one from GM. I am still waiting for the part. GM now says the part should be available in Jan. Of course, they have been saying something like for 6 months. I bought a used one a few months ago. Lucky for me because these things are rare. This is a bad mark for GM as far as I'm concerned.

what about a salvage yard ?

I ordered a new TPMS receiver from GM about 8 months ago. They didn't have one and they still don't. They call me about every two weeks to report on the problem but, don't come up with the part. Luckily, I found one in a salvage yard. One would think they could come up with a solution by fitting a unit from a newer model in my 04 and making the necessary changes to the sending units and/or software. Pretty bad situation for GM considering the cost of a Vette.

The latest. GM now reports they can't get the part and are trying to come up with a "work around". There having the engineers study the situation. Lucky I got one from a salvage yard.

what year do you have ?

early year C5's can be swapped out to later year ones with minor changes

I have an 04. I bought a receiver from a salvage yard since I had lost faith in GM.
