Help! Traction issues

Howdy all

I have an 03 coupe ... recently installed N2O... Also have a Vararam intake and custom tuning . I'm looking to find out the smallest diameter wheel I can fit on an unmodified rear ...... looking to use slicks ... only come in 16" rim and smaller .... or if have to go drag radials ... anyone have similar setup ???? Capable of spraying up to 150 hp shot .... effectively melted my BFG'S @ track on 100 hp shot .... any help would be great .....

If you want to run with Active Handling activated the rear tire diameter needs to be 1/2 to 1 1/2 inch larger than the front. Only that ratio is important not the front or rear tire size.

Thanx ... I do not use the active handling as I cannot use any traction control with the nitrous.

Curious why you can't use TC with Nitrous.

Also, if you run in Competitive Mode it keeps AH but turns TC off.

Can't use TC with nitrous because when the car adjusts for slippage it cuts out throttle .... the NOS system isn't capable of compensating for that and still sends the N2O in at full force and that's obviously not good for the engine. I unfortunately have a bad sensor on the AH system and don't use it, so therefore have no plans to change sensor as of now. I'm looking to add better tires for the traction I need. But can only find the tires I want to use in a 16" rim diameter or less ... not sure if that'll clear the caliper and anything else that might get in way ..... which is why I'm hoping to find someone who has done similar mods to their Vette ....
