Well, I did it, traded in my 93 today :cry but it was for a good cause (I think at least), I got a 1978 Pace car edition with the Canadian RPO (KM on speedo and odometer). I just wanted to thank everyone for their advice and help with my 93 :upthumbs I guess I'll probabally be spending alot more time over at the C3 forums now. I'll check in every now and then to say hi though!:cool

Thanks Again! :w

By the way, if anyone's interested, here's the e-bay auction with a ton of pics

You got one nice car there! Enjoy!!

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! The Pace car was the first corvette I fell in love with when I was about 12 years old. I can still picture it in my mind, on the corner of Fourth and Washington, like it was yesterday. Congratulations, Tim:w

Good Luck with your New Purchase

I've had my Pace Car for a year and a half. Brings a certain good feeling whenever I drive it. The looks you get when people see it is priceless. Wait until you pull into a gas station and people start asking you what kind of car it is. See you on the C3 pages!!!!

I have always liked the 78 Pace car! They are a really beautiful car with great lines and alot of class.

Enjoy! :)

Thanks Everyone, Just driving the car home from the dealer (about 20 min drive) I had one guy pull up next to me and give me the thumbs up, and one guy stop me at the gas station and say how sharp looking it is, and it seems like I turned just about everyone's heads! That's an awesome feeling.

I agree! A neighbor of mine got the only one in the area when I was a kid. We didn't get to see it very often ;) VERY NICE :beer

Very nice firedawg, I hope you have many good times with the 78.

Me Too!

firedawg,

I just bought one last week in Ohio- making plans to ship it here in Atlanta. I'm selling my '78 Silver Anni- just happen to likes the looks of these Pace Cars. Welcome to the C3 pages-- these cars have a unique personality all their own!

Best of luck.

Sully

Beauitiful car. I think the C3's are gonna go up in value since the C2's are almost untouchable anymore. Good luck and enjoy. I just love the look of the earlier vettes.

Hopefully that will be the case! Although I didn't buy it for the value, I bought it because I always loved the 78 pace cars. I plan on keeping this one as long as possible!

...But if it becomes really valuable, like the c-2's, that's great too! :D
