Has anyone found a good location for a transmission cooler?
I have a 79' L82 with auto transmission and air conditioning.
I put a 4:11 rearend in the car and have been running it succesfully with the TH350 transmission for years but feel the transmission fluid could use some extra cooling. I alsoplan on adding a stall converter which would make it a neccessity. It doesn't seem like there would be enough room in front of the air conditioner condenser that sits in front of the radiator as the hood opens into this area.

I put my B&M cooler at the lower right front of the radiator, it is below the level of the hood when it is open.

I don't see how you can get anything in front of the condensor on my 76. Would one of those self contained units with the fan work if mounted say above the lower radiator hose in the engine compartment?

hello, i have thought about moving my extra cooler . the bracket that hold the front bumper facia have a nice area below it to make some brackets. basically the cooler would lay flat, parallel to the ground and be mounted just above the lower valance.

hope i didn't confuse you
