trans cooler

i know our cars have one already but i know i could use a little more help, especially during these vegas summers. does any body have a brand preference? my dad likes hayden. what should i be looking out for while im doing this. oh yea, does anybody know the diameter of the metal tranny lines that go to the cooler?

i don't think there are "tranny coolers" in ours i think they are oil coolers if you got a Z52 or Z51 setup.

i got a hayden i'm putting in in a few weeks along with a 2800 stall and shift kit.

not sure about the line size yet though since i haven't done it.

The tranny cooler for auto's is built into the radiator....

Hows it Go Regal, as far as the tranny cooler I cant help ya there, I never had a problem with mine, so I never checked into replacing it, as far as I know the cooler installed does a pretty good job, are u having tranny problems, or are U just upgrading for security reasons?.Have Fun,Oh ya! there is a Car show at Timet field in Henderson this Sunday if u are interested, I see they are not forecasting rain now,WoooHooo.

hey, yeah i thought a tranny cooler will ease my mind a little bit. after my last fiasco i figured why not. as for sunday goes, i'll be at the summit racing nationals at the strip. the pits are the best part. cant wait to see them tear down those engines and hear them start it back up again.

Hey! enjoy the Races, I was there last year, pretty darn cool,Just hang on when the Top Fuel dragster roar, its like a damn Earthquake,hehe,yes the Pits are very interesting,If ya can, check out Larry Dixons pit, them guys ar a bunch of Nuts, Plus they have a pretty nice party Tent.

I've installed a B&M trans cooler setup in my '84......seems to be working fine.....
