Transmission adjustment

I just had my 89 transmission rebuilt. When I test drove the car, I noticed it shifts at about 2500 RPMs. It doesn't allow it to get the full power. Is there a way to adjust the way the tranmission shifts? The car jusat doesn't feel the same. Any help would be great! Thanks

Did they mess with the linkages on the throttle body? Is it full of fluid?
