I have a 1976 L42 Stingray, I've taken out the engine and turned it into a 383 stroker, it makes 436 hp and 471 ft pds of torque. Now I'm faced with choosing the right tranny and differential, any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Your too easy to answer. Turbo, stall converter, and a 4.11. That shifting BS is for the birds. :L

Bull! Wally, you must be gettin' old! :L

Just pullin' yer leg. ;)

I know the automatic cars are quicker at the strip, but real Corvettes have manual transmissions. :bu

It`s accepatable for a Vette to have a standard trans, but if it`s a quick piece, you cannot beat a beefed up Turbo. :D
