transmission not pulling in

Always a good idea to take a magnet with you when you buy a pilot bushing - the correct ones (see photo) are 100% oilite bronze, but there are a bunch of cheap Chinese ones out there these days that are about 50% bronze/50% iron; they don't last as long, and they can score the hardened surface of your input shaft. :eyerole
 
I believe I got one of the cheaper ones. A magnet was attracted to it.But it actually fit. The bronze one I bought was too big and it was supposed to be for my engine. But it's in now and that's where it's going to stay. If the input shaft wears out It'll just be a reason to replace it with that keisler 5-speed :)
