Transmission

A friend of mine has a transmission from a 1996 Firebird. It has been built with all the goodies and I need it for my engine change. Will the 96 Firebird tranny fit my 1995 Vette? If not, will it work if I just change some external parts around? Thanks.

You should be good to go. You may have to change swap tail shaft housing because the f-body uses a different torque arm.
