Transport from CA to TX outdoors

Trying to find a place that can transport my 65 Roadster from CA to TX. Its got some rock chips and its not perfect, so outdoor transport is fine with me. However, I understand they use chains to strap the car down. On a C2 you cannot chain the rear differential. Has anyone done this or know of anyone transporting a vette unenclosed.

Go here http://www.etrailerpart.com/ and look under tie downs. I use them in my trailer, no matter what kind of vehicle I'm moving in my trailer. They are universal, come in different sizes and are great!!! Hope this answers your question.

Vref, check out http://www.intercitylines.com/, they were recommended by several CAC Members when I needed to move my 67 from Tucson Az. to SoCal. They were fantastic and very reasonable compared to others that I checked. Talk to Bob and let him know that they were recommended by CAC Members and he will help you get it done.

Yep Inner city is clearly a leader in this business They want $1200 from LA to Houston, which is great. The car has some paint and body issues so I was trying to save some bucks and send it unenclosed.

I used Apache Auto Transport in Rancho Cucamonga. 909-937-9797 This was the transport company Corvette Mike's in Anneheim arranged for me. Good experience, but I would suggest you ask about your concerns. Good Luck
