I have GY GS-D3s. They were on the car when I purchased it last September. I have put 21K miles on them since. I will be traveling new month and I am debating if I should go ahead and replace these tires.

Anyone know at what tread depth these tires should be replaced?:beer

Are the tread bars showing??? I think most states Inspections call for at least 3/32 nd's depth to pass!!:upthumbs

I agree with gmjunkie. If your tires are down to the wear bars I'd highly consider replacing them if I were going to be traveling alot and far from home.

Thanks for the link. I believe that I see the wear bar also.

Using the penny method I'd say I have 6/32 on the from and 4/32 on the rear. I'm not worried about state laws or anything like that I simply want to replace them when it is time. I don't want to have issues with water or flats.

I am driving to the gulf from Central Arkansas in a month. With the tread shown above would you guys replace the tires now?

What is a wear-bar?;shrug

Sorry, it's the same thing as a tread bar. It's a raised spot in the tread about 1/16" before you're actually running on bald tires. gmjunkie calls it a tread bar. I've been calling it a wear bar for years...ok, decades. :eyerole
