I tried to take off my fuel filter inlet nut....that backs off easy. Unfortunately, where the gas line nut threads into the fuel filter inlet nut feels like it is welded on there.
I have used a flare nut wrench on the fuel line fitting so that I wouldn't round the nut off..but I can feel it definitely slipping under the strain. Granted, I only had a chance to have now let the nut soak in penetrating oil for a day or so...but if I can't get the darn thing off..what are my options???
With the very few brain cells I have remaining, I figured that putting the old torch to a gas line fitting probably wasn't a good thing....
