Code 44

topless,
I was wondering how you made out with code 33. Didn't hear from you.
Trouble code 44 = lean exhaust.

Check wiring and connectors from O2 Sensor to ECM.
If you see no melted wires and the connector looks OK.
then replace the O2 sensor.
Located on the drivers side exhaust down pipe/ near the exhaust manifold.
The sensor is most likely getting "lazy"
Let us know how you make out with this code.
Sarge

sarge code 33 was caused by some unknown person disconnecting vacuum line to map sensor (looking the other way)

code 44 since its a lean exhaust condition this may help me get through smog seem to come on after I let car get to over 220 degrees while testing my electric fans however when it is running at 220 it sure does run extremly nice alot nice then when its at around 190
