trouble with starter

It was such a nice day went to start the car and it had a weak battery. I put it on charge and I never got more than half a crank out of her the starter sounded a little rough. Or maybe the battery is just week I'm leaning towards the starter. Well anyway where is the starter on a 87 vette it has ground effects so it's hard for me to even locate where to jack it from.

Well I fixed the starter it was such a nightmare my back is all scraped up my knuckles are a mess you have to be part magician part contortionist to do the job!! I had problems every step of the way. But I'm happy the job is done and the car fired up in an instant. Now all I need is a nice day like the day when I originally tried to start it. I recommend not doing the starter in a vette if you could avoid it.
