Troubleshooting cruise control.

1977 Corvette cruise control repair. Any one know how to check where the defect is?

If I was you I would purchase a GM service manual. You can get one very reasonable on ebay. The manual has a very good section on troubleshooting the cruise control. Chuck

Use a test light and wit the car runing, have someone activate it. Have the test light in the plug to make sure it is getting power.

The transducers are notorious for failing. Before you give up though, these cruise controls do not work like todays do. My 81 is very particular about how it is engaged or resumed. The previous setting remains in memory on mine even after the engine has been shut off and restarted.
