Truex to start out front

Martin Truex Jr., whose only Sprint Cup victory came at Dover International Speedway in 2007, won the pole for Sunday’s Autism Speaks 400 on Friday.​

Truex Jr., covered the one-mile concrete oval in 22.884 seconds at 157.315 mph. It was Truex Jr.’s fifth career pole and first at Dover, which the New Jersey native considers his home track.​

Kasey Kahne (22.890, 157.274) will start second with Mark Martin (22.901, 157.198) third.​
