TRW spring good or bad

I just purchased the 340lb TRW spring and am hearing folks say the car will sit too high. Anyone install one and are happy with it.

Can you return and get a refund for the springs?

I had heard something similar, so I decided to utilize 550 lb Coil Springs offerred by VB&P... it was a relatively simple install. With the engine was reinstalled, the loaded springs sit at a perfect height.

I've had one on mine since 1990ish and aside from having to install longer spring bolts to restore correct ride height, it's been trouble free.

I doubt I would go back to the steel spring except for NCRS judging.

Did you use the 8" bolts

I used stock bolts from a C4, not sure what the length is. That was the 'hot' set up when I installed it.

I have it on mine using the bolts that came with the spring and have no ride height problems.
