Corvette
1992 Black 6 speed coupe
92 six speed.
Bought an ALDL (GM OBD1) Cable with 12 pin Connector
USB from OBD Diagnostics.
Installed Tunerpro RT.
Installed the drivers.
Downloaded the DA2.xdf and imported the DA2.ads into Tunerpro.
I'm not sure which jumper setting I need or if I need anything else.
I watched a few videos and did some research but I feel like I'm missing something. I remember reading about a bin file but one isn't listed the file section at Tunerpros website so I'm not sure if I need one or not. That and still not sure about the settings. I also get a Hardware not found error when I initialize Emulation Hardware while the cable is connected but not sure if I have to connect to the car with it first. Can anyone point me to a good tutorial? Or know anything about this tuning stuff?

I wasn't aware that a 92 was capable of Bilateral communications let alone remote tuning
But then I was heavy, HVAC and undercar so it might have been available before OBDII and I missed it

I remember the guys were swapping out calpaks on the Irocs around then

I'm pretty sure a new chip has to be burned but bought this for troubleshooting.

I just mentioned an IROC then saw this today

Did you get this figured out? I've been looking into tuning my 93 next spring, and from what I see, it requires a piggy-back socket on the ECM, and the addition of a new chip. You'll either buy a preprogrammed one or you'll need a burner too. There's some good info here:

LT1 PCM Tuning - Tips & Tricks for DIY Tuning!

Moates has the G1 chip adaptors. They also have LT1 kits with the hardware and software.

Folks, please chime in with missing info!

It turned out the CCM had to be silenced. Someone on another site sent me the file.

The file name is $DA_92-92_Corvette.adx

I just reread your post and realized you plan on tuning. I just wanted to log, at least for now. Not sure what hardware wise is needed.
