Hey everybody this is my first post here. I recently pulled my dads 79 corvettte L-82 out of storage. It has been sitting there for 14 years because the brakes stopped working. So for fathers day I bought him all new calipers and a master cylinder and we got it running and fixed the brakes. I had the intake manifold off to replace the lifters because they were making noise. Any way now when I turn the headlights on the temp gauge pegs hot. It reads normal untill I turn the headlights on. Is this a common problem or am I gonna have to start digging through the wiring to figure it out? Any help would be appreciated.
Oh ya Also on the air cleaner lid it has a date 4-5-79 and #72 is that the production date and number of the car? Thanks
