I'm looking for pictures of C3 Vettes with the Hood twin turbo. They look nice but never seen any actually installed.

If someone has pictures of C3 Vette with the twin turbo hood. Can you please show me the pictures in the post.

Thanks

Thanks. your picture is small. but it sure looks good. If you find or put some bigger pictures. let me know. I might consider a hood like this in the future

I've seen 2 in person and they looked great, but the cars had other mods to the body, not just the hoods.

have one of these hoods going on 74 bb 4spd. just sprayed primer on it late nite. sorry don't have any pics yet. I like the way it looks on the car and it gives an 1.5 in. of clearance under the hood. bonus is I don't have to run stock intake , carb , aircleaner.

Also, so u can see the hoods...go the Ebay Motors...click on Chevy...then Corvette...Next search is CUSTOM..Their is a white '79 on their with a twin turbo hood.....

Also, check out this website www.vetteclub.org

Click on Pictures, then at the bottom Delivery day. That's my Daytona when I took Delivery a while ago..at least u can see the hood......good luck

Thanks Andy. the hood looks really nice.

and vialkial could you please post the picture when yours is done?

not to offend anyone personally, but in my opinion, that has to be the gayest hood every produced. Those belong on a 1984 Camaro residing at a trailer park in Oklahoma, complete with the testerrosa kit on the side, and the fiberglass rear window replacement that makes it look like early c-3.

Please checkout...www.greenwoodcorvettes.com....This site is a wealth of information , much like the folks here at CAC...The site explains the turbo hood a bit and the single NACA duct. I also have a 1976 modified shark with a "regular" hood. I happen to love both types of hoods, but on the widebody Greenwood car, it looks very appropriate. Keep in mind that the greenwood brothers until the callaway sledgehammer , had the fastest corvette around..an aluminum big block that was clocked at 240MPH..they must be doing something right..

I've gotta see pix of this when you get the hood on!

premature ejaculation is fast too, doesn't make it great. those greenwood cars are the ugliest corvettes on the planet in my opinion. I guess if you want to drive something that looks like a prop reject from Buck Rogers, then knock yourself out. The station wagon version is really special.

General Advice:
If a member disagrees, or does not care for a particular option, please state so in a civil manner and leave sexual-references-designed-to-inflame out of the conversation.
You like it? State so and say why.
You don't like it? Just say so.

It is only an opinion and is not the information the original poster was seeking anyways. No need for any feelings to get hurt on either side.

www.vanacorvette.com has a great supply of mod.s also with pics of a turbo hood. Page 23 upper right is the kit I have been considering for a while.

Nice looking yellow hood....Vancore is the only company around still selling the needed parts for mods for certain cars..While at Carlisle, I spoke with the Greenwoods who came up from Florida for the show....They did indicate this was the sole vendor left..

Love the spoiler on the yellow car as well.....Good luck..

Thanks Heidi...AGREE.....

When I bought the car, it had an L-88 on it, and the stock hood was included. The previous owner put on a holley and an Edelbrock manifold, so I'm thinking the stock hood won't work now. At first, I really wanted to put the stock hood back, but the L-88 does look good on the car.

My post was not intended to offend anyone, I'm just giving my opinion, as personally, I think those twin turbo hoods are hideous. Some people may think the L-88 sucks too, and that's their opinion. In my opinion, the stock 1973 and up hoods are the best looking c-3 hoods.
