I found a shop in Shaumberg, IL ( http://www.ls1speed.com ) that is making twin turbo kits for later model F-bodies LTx and LSx and for the C5. Their LTx kit for the F-body rings in at $6500 for everything, including custom bent 321 stainless headers and downpipes. When I wrote and asked about an application in my car (78 Corvette with 95 LT1), they replied that a custom kit would have to be made, but they could do it for about the same price of the F-body LT1 kit. Is this too good to be true? What about this company; has anyone ever heard of them or dealt with them? TIA,

i dunno, as i dont care too much for turbos on a vette! I think vettes should be NA all the way! but if ur into turbos, then that does seem like a good deal

WOW

$6500 hell of a deal man. Tell me how it looks and feels when your done i might think about putting that on my car. Of course that would call for a LT1 but that would be nice. Mmmmm..... i can hear them now.

Yeah, I doing some research now to see if this will pan out. If it does, I will probably go ahead with the engine this year and move to the interior, stereo, and wheels next year's allotment. Will keep you all informed! By the way, 84Vette, why not just step up to the LS1 instead of the LT1. The only reason I didn't go with the LSx is because they were brand new at the time. I suppose the better the deal on an LSx, the better the deal on an LTx, though....

Found this while reading...

HIGH TECH Racing www.high-techracing.com has advertised a Twin Turbo LT1 package, hope it helps, FWIW.

I have to say, being slammed back in your seat like a freight train is something my "NA" cars never could do the way boost can ;)
Keep the faith, *89x2*
