Two quick questions

Where is the paint code on an 84?
Damn already forgot what the second question was going to be, my mind is already going at 39.

Hey man I think that it might be under the center console. I know that is where all of my RPO codes are. I think the tech center has all the codes and such if you do find it. If that isn't right, it wont be long till somebody corrects me.

RPO Codes

In the '84, RPO codes are inside the compartment in the cargo storage area behind the seats.

Well the only thing mine has in the compartments behind the seats is instructions as to how the spare tire system works. I guess I'll have to get a build sheet from the corvette hall of fame.

Just what exactly do you think option codes are? They're nothing more than a combination of letters and numbers. :confused

Well i don't know if I confused anyone or not, I didn't mean to, all I was getting at is there is no sticker or anything anywhere on (or in) the car with such a combination of letters and numbers. Thus the need to get the build sheet. Is very weird since I'm just the second owner.

Lots of 84s are missing the RPO sticker, which if it's not missing would be under the driver's side storage compartment lid.
