first I need help from someone with a factory two tone 80-82 vette, does anyone have close up pictures of where the seperation lines are, and I also need pictures of the door jambs, and the back side of the door on the inside, also need close ups of the factory hood decal and its position, and did the paint seperation line run up and over the wheel wells or was this just a decal, and does anyone know where to get a two tone blue decal set I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find one or what color were the factory strip kits for this color, also what is the factory paint codes for silver blue/dark blue combination .... now on to other paint questions, the bottom of my hood is a flat black as well as the entire engine compartment, was this the way the factory did it ? ..... underneath my door panels the doors are sprayed black .. factory done ? ..... my floors are white should they be body colored ? ( the car is an original white color I believe ) also carpeting is a issue will a 82 carpet set fit a 74 convertible rear floor ? I know the storage doors of earleir one were different but Im going to use my stock two door setup.

if anyone can send me close up pics of the seperation lines around the car it would be a great help

Go look at EBAY "1980 Corvette", there is a nice example of two tone paint. It might be worth while to look at all of the years that are of interest.

I believe I still have some examples of the 82CE decals close up. I used them to give my paint shop guys a reference when painting 'em on my car....

I won't (effectively) be home until Sunday sometime, so I'll try to remember to check then. You might want to shoot me an email or PM to help this old guy remember... :confused :L
